Booking terms

Clear rules so you only worry about enjoying the valley: bookings, payments, cancellations and recommendations.

Bookings and payments

  • Book on WhatsApp or from any experience on this site: we confirm availability and send you the payment link.
  • Online payment runs on Flow and accepts Chilean and foreign cards, at the same price.
  • Payment must be completed within 24 hours to confirm the booking; after that, the spot is automatically released.
  • You can also pay in cash (Chilean pesos) at our office in Pisco Elqui.
  • All prices are per person, in CLP, tax included.

Minimum group sizes

  • Each experience states its minimum group (2 or 4 people depending on the tour).
  • If the minimum has not been reached yet, we still take your booking: we fill the remaining spots with other interested travelers.
  • If the minimum is not met, we offer you a new date or a full refund.

Bad weather

  • Before each astronomical outing, the guide shares the forecast with full transparency and you decide whether to go ahead or reschedule.
  • If the weather prevents the activity, it is rescheduled at no extra cost.
  • If you cannot reschedule, you receive a full refund.

Children and minimum ages

  • Most experiences welcome children; each tour page states the minimum age.
  • Wine Touring Your Way is restricted to adults over 18 because it includes alcohol tasting.
  • On the horseback ride, children from age 4 ride independently with adapted saddles and a mandatory helmet.

Bilingual guide

  • Every tour includes a Spanish-speaking guide.
  • Spanish-English bilingual guide for an extra $12,000 CLP per person (minimum 2 people hiring the translation).
  • Request it when booking so we can arrange the translator.

Safety and certifications

  • Services registered with SERNATUR: tour operator, astronomical center, horseback riding (NCH 3001 standard), cycling tourism (NCH 3050 standard) and hiking.
  • Adventure experiences require signing a Liability Statement before starting.
  • Activities do not include personal travel insurance; we recommend purchasing one.

General recommendations

  • Daytime tours: hat, sunscreen and water.
  • Night tours: warm clothes, closed shoes and a snack for the observatory.
  • High-altitude tours: windbreaker and at least 1.5 liters of water.
  • Marine expedition: clothes that can get wet.
